Rated 5 out of 5 by Good saw Just bought my second one. First one lasted a little over a year using it every day and only reason I replaced it was because it got run over and the pole was broke. You can't beat Stihl saws they are the best on the market bar none. The HT 100 is no exception. July 19, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fantastic Product This is soooo easy to use. I had multiple trees on my property that needed lower branches trimmed off. Doing it by hand was a very tiring and time consuming task. Using the HT 100 made it quite easy -- my wife even wanted to use it and it was easy for her to work. HIGHLY recommend this for getting rid of those annoying limbs. March 3, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by This saw has plenty of power I owned a pole pruner for several years, not from Stihl, and was very dissatisfied with the power and ability to cut limbs out of my trees. The pruner broke down and I had the occasion to go to a Stihl, dealership for the other vendors parts and saw a Stihl HT 100 Pole Pruner and decided I would buy it rather than trying to fix my other product. Wow! What a difference working with the Stihl Pole Pruner as there was much better power and balance in the Stihl pruner. I will never go back to another brand and this Stihl HT 100 is fantastic to work with. February 12, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great gas pruner The HT 100 is a well powered, light weight pruner that is very dependable. For one of the less expensive models, it has plenty of power to bring down large branches. When you hit the throttle you can feel the power of this pruner. It does not mess around when it comes to doing a good job for you. I was so pleased, after I sold my lawn care business, I bought another one. You will not be disappointed. July 11, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice, real nice. This is a bad Mama Jama. For years I have needed this. I finally spent the money and have kicked myself in the butt for not doing it sooner. My place looks great. The equipment is easy use and has plenty of power.I'm looking forward to years of trouble free use. June 9, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by fantastic! I bought a Stihl chainsaw several years ago it proved to be the best I had ever used. Since I bought a hand held blower for my wife a backpack blower and the pole chainsaw pruner they are super ..the best! December 14, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Starts, runs and cuts great. Perfect for keeping all your cutting on the ground. One thing that is great about this saw is how beautifully it starts up and idles. It is so easy to use you will get a lot of work done quickly. November 24, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Right tool for the job! There are certain jobs that are awful if you don't have the right tool. If you have trees to trim, thickets to clear and limbs to remove and you have been using manual pole saws, you probably hate the job. The HT-100 is light weight and well balanced, and has more than enough power to tackle anything that the bar length will handle. The biggest problem you'll have is picking up all the limbs you can cut in an afternoon! Reliable engine, over engineered durability. Very well balanced and easy to maneuver. I have two for regular trimming and one for close-to-ground cutting of small stumps, which can dull any chain quickly. Keep the chain properly tensioned and the debris-chute clear and you can work all day with this machine. August 10, 2013
